The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Evangelo Daoundakis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Family, Students, and Friends of Mr. Daoundakis:

It has been about a year since Mr. Daoundakis died last November 10 2016. Even so, I know he is still loved and will never be forgotten. The passing of time puts a cool bandage on the burning pain of loss, and, … making it through the day, does get easier. Still, the loss hurts, especially when anniversaries come up.

May I tell you about a future day coming when ... all those sleeping, Resting In Peace, will be resurrected to a peaceful, happy life here on a transformed, paradise Earth?

When you welcome back Evangelo, with handshakes, slaps on the back, hugs and kisses, your hurt and pain regarding this loss will be replaced with indescribable happiness and tears of joy. Then the scripture at Isaiah 65:17B will be fulfilled for you: "For look, ... the former (painful) things will not be called to mind neither will they come up into the heart." None of the hurts, sorrows or disappointments of life in this system of things will bother us then.

Would you like to know when and how Jehovah God will do such wonderful things for us? The answers are all in the Bible.

Sincerely yours,
Harolyne

Condolence: Dear Family and Friends of Evangelo:

I was saddened to learn of the death of Evangelo on the McManus website. Even though I did not know Evangelo personally, please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss.

I would like to share with you some verses from the Bible that bring continuing comfort, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones.

First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)

Next, it comforted me and softened my feelings toward Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sicknesses like Parkinson's, cancer, and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).

Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Evangelo (and countless millions) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus' words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Evangelo, Rest In Peace.

May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young and healthy Evangelo. And, ... if you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below.

With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant
