Obituary for Mary Campanile

Mary Campanile
Mary Campanile Nee Cioffi, was born in Brooklyn, NY January 12, 1924. She was the second of four children born to Giovanna and Louis. She attended and graduated high school and worked as a seamstress for many years. Eventually, she met and married Anthony Campanile and worked tirelessly in their grocery store. While living in their home in Ditmas Park , they raised three beautiful children. Dr. Pasquale, Dr. John, and Mary Campanile, an educator.

After retiring from the business Mary stayed active in the community babysitting for neighbor's children and maintaining an active role in the church of Holy Innocents. Up to age 92, Mary worked at her daughter-in-law's dress store twice weekly. She also worked at her son, Johns' veterinarian clinic helping with bookkeeping duties.

As a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, great grandmother, neighbor and friend, those who knew Mary, loved Mary and will always remember her smile and king words.

At the end, she liked to repeat the words "Don't get old!". At 93, she never did.
