McManus Funeral Home

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Anthony E. Mazza can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Remembering Anthony...

Anthony E. Mazza was born and raised in Brooklyn. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War.

Anthony taught physical education at Halsey Junior High School, and was a Truancy Officer at Dewey High School, both in Brooklyn.  He was also a Director in the New York City Parks Department.

He was the son of the late Jack and Margaret Mazza, beloved brother to Elaine and Carmella, brother-in-law to Cesare and Dennis, adored uncle to Denise, Jennifer, Jacqueline, D.J., Frank,  Mia, Tom, Jason, Nicholas, Arya, Emma, and Dean.

We know he is in heaven reading books, talking about his love of history, and watching his favorite TV shows, Madam Secretary and Blue Bloods.
