Neil H Firtle lived a beautiful life until his perpetual smile was taken from us on March 29, 2018. Neil was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 24, 1954 to Sandra and Bennett Firtle. He has resided in Belle Harbor, NY with his family for the past 34 years. Neil is the loving husband of Maureen, father and best friend of Bridget (Harry Drennan III) and Kathleen.

Neil shared a lifetime of happy memories with his extended families, the Coughlin and Tacconi clans -- sisters and brothers in law Patricia, Jeff, Mike, Danny, Phyllis and Tommy. Jeff and Patricia (Coughlin) Tacconi made him the proud uncle of LJH (Vanessa) and Cynthia (Anthony) and grand uncle to Thomas, Liv, and John Anthony.

Neil was the life of the party. He will surely be missed by all.

Family will receive friends at the historic chapel of Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday April 4, 2018 from 12-1pm. Attendees should meet at cemetery entrance (5th avenue & 25th Street) at 11:45am. In lieu of a wake. the family welcomes friends to an open reception for the celebration of a wonderful life at the Knight of Baron de Kalb (3000 Emmons Avenue, Brooklyn, NY) on Sunday April 8, 2018 from 1-5pm.
