I just learned of Tom’s passing. He and I worked together for the Navy in Brooklyn. Although it was more than 30 years ago, I clearly remember his wonderful sense of humor. May his memory be a blessing.

Dear Utecht Family: With sincere and deepest sympathy on the loss of your Beloved Tom. I worked with Tom at the New York Asylum Office in Rosedale. He was a wonderful person who always lightened up the room with his laughter and stories. He will be missed. Their is no pain and suffering in heaven, may that be your consolation. See you on the other side my friend, please prepare a way for me when it is my time. Your friend and co-worker: Rochelle

When we are grieving the death of of those we love, soothing comfort can be found in the word of God. In Isaiah 25:8 the promise is "God will swallow up death forever, and the sovereign Lord will certainly wipe the tears from all faces." Find consolation in knowing the Almighty has already seen your affliction, and promises to come to your aid.
