Obituary for Rose Marie Louhisdon

Rose Marie Louhisdon (nee Calvin) was born on September 25, 1950 in Port -Au -Prince, Haiti. She migrated to the United States at the age of 12 with her siblings, Yves and Renaude. She graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.A. in Mathematics.
Rose Marie married Harry Louhisdon Sr. in 1974. In 1984, she relocated from Brooklyn to Schenectady, NY with her husband. Shortly thereafter, she started a successful 25-year career as a Social Worker for the Schenectady County Department of Social Services. She retired in 2013.
She was devoted to her children. She loved cooking, listening to music and watching movies. She was deeply religious and loved the Lord.
At the time of her passing, she was residing in New Jersey with her much loved daughter, Michele. She is survived by her husband, Harry Sr., daughter, Michele, and son, Harry Jr. Preceding her in death are her father, Edner Calvin Sr., mother Surprise, and brother, Edner, Jr.
She was deeply loved by her family and those who were fortunate enough to know her.
