Loretta Noel (Pagnoni) was born on Christmas Day 1944 to Mary and Larry Pagnoni. Loretta was the fourth of five children. She is survived by her sisters Marianne Munnelly, Elaine Donahue and Carol Pagnoni, her brother Larry Pagnoni and their spouses John Munnelly, Charles Donahue and Phyllis Pagnoni. Loretta attended PS 222, and Madison High School, before she began her career as a secretary. Loretta worked hard for many years before retiring 10 years ago from Cahill. Gordon & Reindel.
Loretta is the beloved Mother of JoAnn DiSarno and the cherished Grandmother of Robert DiSarno. She is the loving Aunt of many nieces and nephews, spanning 3 generations.
Loretta had a great talent for embroidery and made samplers and quilts for many members of the family. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles and was a voracious reader. Loretta enjoyed traveling with the family, especially the annual "Sisters' Trip". She loved to go to Atlantic City. A special treat in her later years was having Robert bring her "chips and a soda" when he returned home from a night out. When she cooked for a party, there was sure to be sausage and peppers, baked ziti and garlic bread. and she never went light on the garlic.
After waging a battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer for years, Loretta passed away peacefully with family at her side on June 11, 2020. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
