Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Laverne Bartley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Words can not explain the amount of sadness we all feel. Laverne, you was a great mother and a great neighbor. I will always remember the big pot of water you would boil weekly and leave on the stove and how we all thought it was curry chicken. I will always remember how you would say "Roderick" with distinct pronunciation when you needed him to do something. You may not had everything at one time but I admired your desire and will to achieve your goals and you did just that. Roger, take peace in knowing your mom is flying high with the our heavenly father. You loved you mom, but, God loved her more. He saw she was getting tired and called her to rest.
