The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edward Patrick Moore (Ret. NYPD) can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the Moore Family.

Although I had not seen Ed in many many years, I always have fond memories of him and my Dad from my youth. Later on I had several encounters at PSA 2 where he would guide me and exchange updates. My dad was very fond of Mr. Moore as well.

Condolence: If ever there was a kind hearted and generous soul, it was Ed. A dear man who I had the honor to get to know from our service at the World Trade Center and brief correspondence following those days. I have ever treasured the memory of his kindness and the special keepsake he gave me ... I have always felt sad that we fell out of touch after I deployed overseas and asked friends about him and his family. Surely he soars in the Heavens and was greeted at the gates by myriads of fellows that passed before him. My prayers of comfort for his beloved family who he spoke so endearingly of.

Condolence: Eddie Moore mentored hundreds of young cops and supervisors @ PSA 2. He showed up for work everyday and took his assignment without question or haste. He was a great man and a great cop. The world will not be the same without him. God Bless, Brother!
